Cheese; Sliced, Medium grated, Small grated.

Cheese; Sliced, Medium grated, Small grated?

While making some scrumptious cheese toasties, I came across a great discovery.

Just by using one type of cheese,  in my case I used cheddar cheese, you can get several different flavours of cheese from it. OBVIOUSLY they aren’t huge differences in flavour, but there is enough of a difference to be able to tell the difference. So enjoy the instructions that I’ve provided and enjoy it for yourself. If you discover anything new with other cheese, or various ways to slice n’ dice your cheeses, let me know by commenting!

Instructions

Get yourself a block of cheddar cheese. (I haven’t yet tried it with different types of cheese, so if you have the opportunity, test it yourself.) Cut one slice of cheese off of the black, alittle less than 1cm big. Now cut another slice about 4mm (these measurements have to be spot on, of course. ;P). Put those two perfectly cut pieces of cheese to the side. Now grab a grater. If you’ve got a modern grater, or a fancy grater, you should find that you have options of how you would like to grate your cheese (courtesy of the cheese grater makers). Make a small pile of grated cheese using the largest grating option. Once you have that pile, there should be a grater option that is pretty much half the size of the one you just used. Make another small pile with the small option. Now, you’re set to enjoy the vast flavours that one type of cheese can provide.
